Labor Law and Leave Rights for Salaried Employees

Annual Vacation Leave

    • Employees who have worked for at least one year are entitled to a minimum of 6 days of annual leave per year.
    • Employers may determine the vacation leave schedule for employees.

Sick Leave

    • Employees are entitled to sick leave as needed, with no limit on the number of days.
    • If sick leave exceeds three consecutive days, the employer may request a medical certificate.
    • Employees are entitled to paid sick leave for up to 30 days per year.

Personal Leave

    • Employees are entitled to at least three days of personal leave per year.
    • Personal leave is paid leave.

Maternity Leave

    • Employees are entitled to 98 days of maternity leave (including holidays).
    • Employers must pay wages for up to 45 days of maternity leave.
    • Employees may also claim maternity benefits from the Social Security Fund.

Military Leave

    • Employees required to undergo military service or training are entitled to leave for the necessary period.
    • They are entitled to paid leave for up to 60 days per year.

Sterilization Leave

    • Employees are entitled to leave for sterilization procedures and will receive their wages during the leave.

Paternity Leave

    • Government employees are entitled to 15 days of paternity leave.
    • Private sector employees are subject to their company’s policies.
